Randy sat in his locker room not even listening to the chatter that was going on around him. He was getting annoyed that Ric was still congratulating him for beating another legend. Everyone else he didn’t give a shit about beating on them and ending there careers. This time was different he didn’t kill just anyone this was HBK Shawn Michaels. His mentor, His idol, His…fantasy. He had been in love with Shawn since he was boy watching the show on tv. He used to say when I grow up I’m going to be just like him then after he got older and realized he was gay instead of saying I am going to be just like him. He said I am going to be with one day.

He sighed and looked up Ric who was doing that stupid strut. “Ric look I’m going to take a shower then I am going to back to the hotel. I’m exhausted. I just wanna sleep.”

Ric looked at the legend killer and from, “What about the big parties and stuff. You know Limo driving, Kiss stealing….”

Randy cut Ric off. “Yea I know all about the Evolution motto. I don’t feel like it tonight. I’m just going to shower and sleep this night away maybe things will be better in the morning.” He took his bag and went into the shower part of the locker room. He scrubbed down and got redressed in his normal clothes. Being in Evolution meant that you dress in suit pants and button down shirts since he wasn’t on camera or even on the clock at the moment jeans and a t-shirt suited him just fine.

Making sure he had everything Randy walked out of the locker room he had been assigned and took for the rental that he had shared earlier in the evening with the rest of Evolution. Since Hunter was going “home” with Bill Goldberg. He didn’t know what Ric was doing and frankly he didn’t care. If it wasn’t for him he would have been able to go with the plan he had. He was going to take a beating and let the legend beat the legend killer but no Ric just had to put his leg up on the rope. He opened the car door and jumped in. He drove quickly back to the hotel.

Shawn sat in his locker room staring at the floor. He had been beat by Randy Orton. Granted Randy and Flair had cheated but still yet another beating on his record. He sighed. Maybe he should do what everyone thought he should do. Pack it in. He was getting older. He packed his bag and walked slowly out to his rental. He drove back to the hotel tell thinking. Should he pack it in? And if he did what did he have to go home to? Just a big empty house.

He walked into the hotel and took the elevator to his floor. All he wanted to do was slip into bed and sleep the night away. He was suppose to call Kevin but he was just to tired. He back ached. He just ached period.  The elevator dinged for his floor he walked out and down the hall to his room.

He slipped into the room and dropped his bag on the floor. “Shit I’m tired.” He said allowed. He stripped down to his boxers and fell into bed face first.

Randy laid on his bed but couldn’t fall asleep. He kept thinking about Shawn. He sat up and went over to his bag quickly he knew what he had to do. He put on some old gray sweats and a gray tank top. He didn’t even bother with shoes or socks. He grabbed his keycard and ran out of his room. He ran down the hall until he found a couple wrestlers. “Anyone know where Shawn’s room his?”

Scott Steiner shook his head, “No idea man.”

Test shook his head too, “No clue.”

Randy turned and saw JR walking towards them. “Do you know where Shawn’s room is?”

JR looked at him suspiciously. “Yea I know where it is. Why?” He wasn’t taking the chance that Randy was up to no good with Hunter and Ric.

Randy shook his head, “Its just me looking for him. Not Evolution. Not the legend killer. Just Randy Orton.” He looked at the floor and said, “the love sick puppy. Looking for forgiveness.”

JR looked at Randy with shocked wide eyes. He patted Randy’s shoulder. “His room his 234. Right down there.” He pointed down the hall.

Randy smiled, “Thanks.” He took off running down the hall.

Shawn laid on his bed face down. He fought for sleep but it just won’t come. He heard someone knock softly on his door but he opted to ignore them. Who ever it was just wasn’t giving up. He stood slowly he winced when he felt his back muscles pull. He walk over to the door and opened it slowly. When he saw Randy Orton standing there he glared and went to shut the door.

Randy put his hand on the door, “Wait its just me I swear. I didn’t bring anyone with me.” When he noticed Shawn didn’t open the door any farther. He sighed, “Please Shawn I came here because I couldn’t sleep. I kept thinking about tonight please. I just wanna talk to you.”

Shawn sighed and shook his head. He didn’t think he could take another beating tonight. He opened the door just enough to see Randy. “Kid look just forget it. I am sure this isn’t the last time I’m going to get screwed over by you all so don’t worry about it.”

Randy looked at the floor. He knew he wasn’t going to be forgiven but his heart made him try. “Shawn I’m sorry. I didn’t want to beat you tonight. I was just going to take a royal beating then let you win. If it hadn’t been for that moron Flair you would have won. I would have been happy.” He looked at Shawn who was now staring at him open mouth shocked. He turned around to leave when he felt Shawn’s hand on his arm.

Shawn looked up at Randy. “Come in so we can talk.” He opened the door all the way so Randy could come in. He was a little embarrassed that he was just in his boxers. He didn’t exactly have the body of the “Show Stopper” anymore. He sat down on the end of the bed stiffly.

Randy watched him sit. “Are you okay?” He walked over and kneeled in front of Shawn. “Is it your back?”

Shawn nodded, “Yea it’ll be okay.” He sighed, “Look Randy I don’t know why you are all upset about this. Its going to happen a lot. You are the new generation and I’m just … well I’m just the old guy.”

Randy shook his head, “No you aren’t just the “old” guy. You are a legend. You’re what I wanted to be when I was little. I watched you on television.” He smiled up at Shawn. “I couldn’t believe that I got to wrestle you that first time. I called home and told everyone.” He picked up Shawn’s hands. “I want you to forgive me for what happened tonight.” He looked into Shawn’s blue eyes.

Shawn looked into Randy’s chocolate colored eyes. “Randy there’s nothing to forgive but since you obliviously want forgiveness. I forgive you.” He sighed.

Randy smiled. He was so happy he forgot himself and leaned up an pressed a kiss to Shawn’s lips. He realized what he was doing a pulled back quickly. “God Shawn I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have done that. It was just the moment and you are so hot and I have wanted to do that for along time.” He realized he was saying way to much and he stood up to run.

Shawn was still reeling from the kiss. ‘He kissed me. I want him to kiss me again.’ He listen to Randy babble about want to kiss and thinking he was hot. “You think I’m hot? How can you think I’m hot I’m old and tired.”

Randy shook his head, “You’re not old. You’re hot and sexy just as you always have been.” He was walking toward the door. “Look I think I’m going to go I have said things that I shouldn’t have please don’t hate me.”

Shawn went to stand quickly but his back muscles tightened and he cried out. He fell back on the bed. He was gasping in pain. “OW SHIT!”

Randy told and ran back over to Shawn. “Are you alright? What is it? Can I help you in anyway?” He sat next to Shawn on the bed. He carefully laid his hand on Shawn’s stomach.

Shawn groaned, “Its my back. The muscles are cramping because of the match tonight.” He tried to relax but that made it worse. “Can you go get my pain pills? They’re in the bathroom on the counter next to the sink. It’s the only bottle there.”

Randy hurried into the bathroom and got the pills. He also got a glass of water. He took the pills and the water back to Shawn. “Here. Can you sit up to take them?”

Shawn tried to sit up but just end flopping back down. “I don’t think I can by myself. Can you help me?”

Randy nodded, “Yea I can help this is basic my fault anyway.” He put the pills and water on the table. He helped Shawn sit up. After making sure Shawn drank all the water. He moved and put one around Shawn’s shoulders an the other under his legs. “Take a deep breath. I’m going to pick you up and move you up to the pillows.” He picked him up and moved him up. Laying him down cautiously he asked, “Can I get you anything else?”

Shawn shook his head, “No I’m okay. Thanks for helping me.” He watched Randy move around the room taking the glass to the bathroom and refilling it. He turned off the lights and locked the door. “What are you doing?”

Randy smiled, “I’m getting ready for bed. If you think I’m letting you here by yourself hurting you are sadly mistaking.” He stood at the end of the bed fidgeting. “I know I said a lot of things tonight. I meant all of them. I’m not going to try anything.”

Shawn smiled at the man who was ignorant and self-centered in the ring but now he was nervous and shy. “Randy. I think you can do a lot better then me but if I’m what you want who am I to say no.  I think you’re a great a person I would like to try and have a relationship with you.”

Randy smiled brightly the one he only uses in the ring for the fans. “Shawn there is no one better then you. I’ve loved you since I was 14 years old.” He pulled his tank top off and threw on the floor. He laid down carefully on the bed so he didn’t jiggle Shawn too much. He leaned down and kissed Shawn softly. “How’s your back?”

Shawn wiggled around, “Its okay. The pills don’t take that long to kick in.” He smiled up at Randy. He was sure that things were going to be tough for both of them because of Evolution but maybe it could work.

Randy laid on his back and pulled Shawn into his side. They laid snuggled together. Shawn had his head lying on Randy’s chest. Randy massaged the base of Shawn’s back with one hand. He smiled when Shawn whimpered and mewled. “Feel good?”

Shawn nodded and yawned, “I’m sleepy.”

Randy nodded, “Yea it’s been a hard night.” He pulled the blanket up and over them. “Night Shawn. Don’t worry about anything. I’m going to make this work. I have you now I’m not going to let you go.”

Shawn smiled. He thought back to earlier when he was thinking about leaving the business. ‘I don’t think that its going to happen now. I’m going to be sticking around for awhile. Maybe when I go home now it won’t be lonely.’ He drifted off to sleep with a dreamily little smile on his face.

Randy drifted off thinking of the wonderful things that were going to happen with Shawn in the future. ‘I finally have him. I’m never letting him go ever. Even if it means leaving Evolution.’ He let the darkness take him.
