                 --------------------------------

Dylan sat in his car outside his house deciding what to do. Should he take a chance on something that could be great or should he just leave things alone an only wish for more. He rested his head on the steering wheel and sighed. He was in love with his best friend Brandon Walsh. He put the drive into gear and drove as fast as he could to get to Brandon's house before he could change his mind. He hoped that this was the right thing to do. What if Brandon got pissed and wouldn't speak to him. He would be losing his best friend.

              -------------------------------

Brandon threw his arm out and hit his alarm clock off the top dresser. He glared at it. The thing never went off after his spectacular orgasm with his dream man. He got up to take a shower when he heard a car pull up outside. He sighed and decided to fore go his shower. He hadn't really needed one after all he had just taken one the night before but he need a cold one to cool down his raging hormones. He went down to answer the persistent doorbell. When he flung open the door his hormones started raging harder.

He swallowed. "Hello Dylan."

Dylan smiled. "Hello Bran. What's going on?"

Brandon smiled nervously. "Nothing much. Wanna come in? Bren's not here."

"I didn't come to see her anyway."

Brandon frowned. "Oh okay. Well I was just going to get dressed. Come on up."

Dylan swallowed heavily. "Okay." He followed Brandon up to his room.

"So what are you doing today McKay?"

"Probably hitting the beach." Dylan watched Brandon put his shirt on but when Brandon started to take off his pajama bottoms he blushed and turned away. He cleared his throat and said, "You up for it?"

Brandon looked at Dylan and smiled. "Sure man. Do I need my wet suit?"

"Nah. I was just thinking about going for a walk. That cool with you?"

Brandon nodded, "yeah its cool with me. I need to walk."

-----------------------------------------------------------

They got into Dylan's car and took off for the beach. Dylan wanted to talk about his feelings without the chance that one of their friends would interrupt them. So he took Brandon to a secluded beach where he usually went to think. Brandon looked around and frowned. "Uh Dylan."

"Yea?"

"Where are we going?"

"To a beach I know. We still got a couple a miles to go."

"Oh Okay."

Brandon laid his head back and watched the scenery go by.

Dylan watched Brandon out of the corner of his eye. He was having serious second thoughts about telling Brandon. Maybe he should just be happy with just their friendship after all it was the most important thing to him. And if Brandon didn't feel the same way he could lose it all. Dylan parked the car in a spot right by the sand. He looked at Brandon and smiled faintly Brandon was sleeping peacefully Dylan hated to wake him so he just sat back and quietly watched the surf.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Brandon woke and saw that the car had stopped in front of the sand. He turned his head told the driver's side and saw Dylan sitting there looking out at the surf. He looked at Dylan's features. He really was a good-looking man. No wonder Brenda had fall in love with him. "Hey man. You okay?"

Dylan jumped, "You scared me."

Brandon blushed. "Sorry"

Dylan grinned. "No problem. Yeah I'm okay."

"Why didn't ya wake me?"

"Cause you looked so cute a sleep" As soon as it was outta his mouth Dylan couldn't believe he had said it. 'Man I got to learn to watch my mouth.' Dylan thought. He jumped outta the car and took off down the beach.

Brandon stared at Dylan walking down the beach. 'Did he mean that? Does he really think I am cute? Oh get over it he is as straight as an arrow. He dated your sister for god sake.' He sighed and jumped out of the car and took off down the beach after Dylan.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Dylan was half way down the beach when Brandon caught up with him. "McKay you walk to fast. Slow down."

"Sorry. Just got to thinking."

"About what?"

Dylan sighed. 'Its now or never' "I was thinking about..." Brandon looked at him. "About?" Dylan stopped walking and turned to look at him. "I was thinking about us. Well mostly you."

Brandon's eyes got real wide. "What? Why me?"

Dylan sighed and rubbed his eyes. "Because I'm.... I'm in love with you." He looked down at his feet. He couldn't stand to see the disappointment and anger in Brandon's eyes. He turned and started toward the car. 'Brandon will probably want to leave now.'

Brandon watched Dylan walk back toward the car. Could he let this happen? What would Brenda think? What would his parents say? Watching Dylan slowly walk away from him the answer became so clear.

"Yo Mckay." Brandon yelled.

Dylan stopped but didn't turn around. "Yeah?" he said softly

"Come back here right now"

Dylan slowly turned back toward Brandon. Keeping his eyes on the ground he slowly made his way back toward him. When he stopped in front of Brandon he raised his head to look Brandon in the eye. Brandon gasped when he saw the tears in Dylan's eyes. "How private is this beach?"

"No one ever comes here. Why?"

Brandon pushed Dylan to the ground. Then fell on top of him. He pinned Dylan's arms over his head in the sand. "I just didn't wanna make love with an audience." He kissed him on the lips tenderly and gently at first then turned more passionate. Dylan started to shake and sob. Brandon pulled back and sat down up on his knees. He pulled Dylan into a sitting position and hugged him tightly. "What's wrong?" Dylan didn't answer he just clung tight to Brandon an cried.

After Dylan's tears were finally all gone he pulled away from Brandon. Brandon tipped Dylan's face up toward him. "You okay now?"

Dylan grinned sheepishly and nodded.

Brandon wiped Dylan's face with the bottom of his shirt. "Wanna tell me what happened?" D

ylan sighed. "You just made me so happy Bran."

Brandon smiled and leaned an brushed his lips over Dylan's tenderly.

Dylan sighed. This was all he wanted out of life. He wanted Brandon in his life forever and now it looked like he was going to get his wish. Brandon started to push Dylan down in the sand again but he resisted. He pulled away from Brandon. "I want this to be special." Brandon was confused. "It is special Dylan." Dylan sighed. "I don't want to have quick sex on the beach for our first time. I want to make long, slow, passionate love for our first time. I want it to be special with rose pedals and champagne and those big pillar candles."

Brandon blushed. "Oh. That's sounds lovely. I don't deserve that."

Dylan took Brandon's hands in his. "You do baby. You deserve all that an so much more then I can give you."

Brandon blushed harder at the term of endearment. "Okay. Let's wait then"

Dylan smiled and stood himself an Brandon up. "Come lets go snuggle on the couch at my house."

Brandon smiled. "Okay."

They walked handed in handed to the car. Brandon whispered to Dylan. "I love you." Dylan squeezed his hand "I love you too."

----------------------------------------------------------

Neither noticed two sets of prying eyes watching them.

"Its about time they came around and told each other how they felt." David said to the other man.

"I know. God like it wasn't so obvious."

"So... If they tell everyone about their feelings can we?" David asked

"Maybe." Steve smiled.

David grinned at Steve and kissed him.

THE END!
