Patti sat on her couch in shock. Tomorrow was her birthday and she just got a phone call from her fiancé saying that he wasn’t going to make it home. He was flying out to Seattle in the morning. His precise words were, “Honey I am not going to make it home for your birthday because I am needed in Seattle for a House Show. I will buy you a great big gift when I get home I promise.” Patti didn’t cry but she felt like it. She called her friend Julie to tell her about it.

Patti dialed Julie’s number and waited for her to answer the phone. She was about to give up when a man answered the phone

“Hello?” the sleepy voice said

“Hi sorry to wake you Adam. Can I talk to Julie please? I really need to talk to her.” Patti sniffled.

“Yeah sure you can talk to her. Is everything okay?” Adam asked.

Patti cleared her throat and said, “Yeah. I’m fine. Do you have to go to Seattle tomorrow too?”

“No I’m Julie’s all weekend. Needless to say that she is ecstatically happy.” Adam laughed not knowing about Patti’s man leaving her alone for her birthday. “Yeah I know I would be.”

“Hold on a minute I will get Julie for you.” Adam laid the phone on the bedside table. He reached over and shook Julie awake. She rolled over and blinked up at him. “What?” Adam motioned to the telephone. “Its Patti and she sounds upset.”

Julie reached over and grabbed the phone. “What’s wrong? What happened?” Patti chuckled humorlessly. “Nothing happened really.” Patti sniffed.

Julie took the hint and said, “He isn’t coming home is he.” Patti started to sob and said, “No he isn’t he said that he was going to go to Seattle with the rest of the guys for a House Show.”

Julie sighed. “I am so sorry sweetie.”

“I know I should have expected it but I just thought that since this was my first birthday that we have celebrated together. I just thought he would take more interest.” Patti said.

Julie sighed again. “I am sorry sweetie. Maybe we can do something tomorrow.”

“No that’s okay. You have Adam home with you this weekend.” Patti said

“So what that doesn’t mean anything. We can still go shopping or grab some lunch.” Julie said.

Patti smirked, “Maybe both.”

Julie laughed. “Yeah now you’re talking.”

“Well I will let you go that way you can be with your man. I mean at least he comes home once in awhile.” Julie frowned at how sad her friend sounded. “Why don’t you get some things together and come over here and stay the weekend. There is no reason you should be alone in that big house.”

“No I don’t want to impose. I mean you and Adam deserve some time together.”

“Really its no problem. We like having you over.”

Patti smiled because in the background she could hear Adam yelling, “Come on over Patti. I need someone to play with.”

Julie laughed and said, “I thought you liked playing with me.”

Patti laughed, “You guys geez. Okay I will be over on one condition.”

“Ok what’s that?” Julie asked.

“You keep Adam at bay.”

Julie laughed loudly. “Okay I will keep him under control.”

Patti laughed, “Okay I will be over in a few.”

Julie smiled, “Okay.”

Patti laughed because as she was hanging up the phone she heard Julie yell, “Adam Patti is coming over and I want you to be on your best behavior. And Adam put some pants on.”

Patti packed her over night bag with a few things. She only planned on staying over night because she wanted to at least let the newlyweds have a few nights to themselves. They really hadn’t had a honeymoon. They were married on a beach in California the night after a big PPV. Once they were married and had about 2 hours alone. She and Julie were on a plane back home. Adam and the others were on a plane to Orlando Florida for RAW. Grabbing her bag and car keys she left. Maybe spending the night with Julie and Adam would help with her mood.

Patti pulled in to Julie’s driveway and turn off the engine. She sat in the car for a minute trying to decide whether going in was a good idea after all. Before she could make up her mind Adam came barreling out of the house pulling a laughing Julie behind him. Adam knocked on her window and was motioning for her to roll it down, which she did.

“Patti Patti I am so glad you’re here. I was looking and looking for you.” An over excited Adam exclaimed.

Patti laughed, “I thought you were going to keep him under control.”

Julie laughed and shook her head, “I tried but nothing I tried worked.”

Adam was still standing in front of her car, which meant she couldn’t open it; she looked at him and said, “Uh Adam.”

Adam looked at her and raised an eyebrow, “Yeah.” Patti motioned with her hand but he still stood there.

Julie sighed and smacked him in the arm. “Move Adam so she can get out.”

Adam moved back so Patti could get out. “Where is all your stuff? I can carry it in for ya.”

Patti pointed to the back seat, “I only brought my overnight bag.”

Julie looked at it and frowned, “I thought you staying the weekend.”

Patti smiled at her friend, “Nah. Just overnight. You two need some time together.”

Julie’s frowned deepened, “Well what about you?”

Patti smiled at her friend’s thoughtfulness. “I will be just fine. I guess I got to get use to it anyway right.”

“I guess so.” Julie frowned some more. When she got her hands on that man.

After dinner that night Adam suggested they watch a movie. “Okay. That’s a good idea. What should we watch?” Julie asked.

Adam suggested they let Patti decided. “Oh no I don’t wanna decided.”

Adam whined, “but you have to decide. You’re a good picker.”

Julie sighed, “Sometimes I think I married a five year old.”

Patti snickered.

“Please someone choose a movie.” Adam whined.

Patti walked over to the impressive movie collection that Adam and Julie had.

Adam fidgeted on the couch waiting for the women to pick the movie. “Come on you guys. I wanna watch a movie. And I don’t wanna watch any of that romance stuff.”

Patti laughed, “You don’t have to worry I am in the mood for some nasty blood and guts kinda stuff.”

Adam sighed and said, “ Whew. I thought I was going to have to endure some dumb chick flick.”

“Adam.” Julie said.

Adam flinched he knew Julie was probably going to hit him for the chick flick comment, “Yes”

Julie glared at him then laughed, “Go make popcorn.”

Adam jumped a run for the kitchen happy that he was going to get slapped. While Adam was in the kitchen Julie took the opportunity to talk to Patti about Shawn. “So um.. Do you wanna talk about it?”

Patti sighed deeply. “Not right now. I just wanna watch a movie with my best friends.”

Julie nodded, “ I understand but when you need me I will be here.”

Patti smiled and nodded.

Just as they had finished the conversation they were having Adam came in to the room carrying 2 big bowls of popcorn and a 6 pack of pop. “Jesus Adam its just us 3 not entire movie theater.” Patti snickered.

“I know but I love lots a popcorn with my movie. What are we watching?”

“We’re still looking for something.” Julie said.

“No we’re not.” Patti said in triumph. She held up a dvd.

“Oh Sweet I love Resident Evil.” Julie groaned she really didn’t care for blood and guts.

Patti looked at Julie, “Something wrong?”

Julie shook her head, “Nope nuttin at all.” She climbed into Adam’s lap it was easier to hide her face his way.

Patti put the dvd in the player and handed the remote to Adam. She settled in on the other said of the couch snuggled against the arm. She looked over at Julie and Adam snuggled together on the couch and sighed. She wished Shawn had made an attempt to talk to Vince about coming for her birthday even if he had to fly out the next morning. She sighed again and turned back to the movie. She hadn’t seen it before and maybe the action would take her mind off things.

Patti sat and watched the movie with fascination. She had never seen so much great violence in one movie. She heard whimpering from the other side of the couch. She hesitated for a minute but looked and saw Julie hiding her face in Adam’s neck. She had to chuckle. Some people just couldn’t take good old fashion violence. “You okay dude?” she cocked an eyebrow at her friend.

Julie looked up from her place in Adam’s neck and blushed. “Yeah I am okay. This just isn’t my thing ya know.” She looked at the television and stuck her tongue out. “But its cool. I can get into it I guess.”

Patti just chuckled at her friend and turn attention back to the television. Violence was a good thing especially now with all the crap that was going on in her life at the moment. She was just getting back into the movie she heard something ringing. “Hey is your phone ringing?” She asked looking at Julie.

Julie listened and shook her head, “No but I do hear ringing. Adam is that your cell phone?”

Adam shook his head. “No I turned it off because everyone knows I’m home.”

Patti got up and walked over to her coat and checked the pockets. She pulled out her cell phone and checked it. “Oh its me.” She looked at the caller and said groaned, “Its Shawn. I am going to take this in the kitchen.” She walked over of the living room and into the kitchen.

Julie shook her head. She left bad for Patti. Looking at Adam she smiled. She wrapped her arms around him and squeezed. When he looked at her she smiled at him and said, “I am so glad I got you.”

Adam smiled brightly at her and kissed her sweetly on the lips. “I am so happy I got you too.” He hugged her tight. “What brought this on?” Then he smiled lustfully at her, “Not that I mind.”

Julie giggled. “Its just I have been thinking about this whole thing with Shawn and Patti thing and I’m just glad that you come home to me on important dates.”

Adam just shrugged, “ I know what is more important and what isn’t.”

Julie smiled, “Am I important?”

Adam brushed Julie’s cheek. “No.” He shook his head.

Julie pulled back a little.

Adam whispered, “You’re vital.” He kissed her sweetly.

Patti stood in the kitchen raiding the fridge. “Shawn, why are you calling me?” She knew she was being rude but she was still pissed at him for missing her birthday.

Shawn sighed. He had expected her to angry but not this angry. “Honey I just wanted to call ya and see if you were okay. I tried the house and you weren’t home.”

Patti sighed, “No I called Julie this morning and told her that you weren’t coming home for my birthday. An she could tell that I was upset so she invited me over for the weekend so I wouldn’t have to be by myself for my birthday.”

Shawn cursed silently. This would ruin all his plans if she was at Julie’s house tomorrow night. “Oh I see. How long are you going to stay with them?”

Patti sighed deeply as she ate some red grapes that she found in Julie and Adam’s fridge. “ I’m not leaving you Shawn. I…. I love you too much for that. I’m just angry but to answer your question I will probably be home sometime tomorrow evening. When are you coming home?”

Shawn sighed relieved and smiled. Everything was going to work out perfectly. “I love you to baby. I will probably be home sometime Wednesday.” He heard her sigh. He knew that this was very mean of him but he did have this whole birthday surprise planned for her. He would have to call Julie later and thank her for all her help. He knew Patti would probably be upset with Julie for keeping this from her but Julie thought it was only fair since Patti knew about her engagement a month before Adam had proposed.

“Well I’ll have something really good planned for dinner then Wednesday. Maybe I’ll invite Julie and Adam over for dinner. Julie misses you too.” Patti said. She leaned against the counter still eating the grapes.

“Yeah maybe we could do that but it might just be Julie because I think Adam is going to be on the road by then. I heard that he is going to be teaming about with Rey Mysterio Jr.”

Patti sighed. Julie was so happy that Adam was home and now he was probably leaving Tuesday. “Yeah well at least she got to see him for a couple days. If he is leaving that soon maybe I should get out here tonight. Let them have the honeymoon they never had.”

Shawn’s breath caught. “No you should stay. I don’t want you to be alone for your birthday.” As soon as he said he knew it was wrong.

Patti’s anger grew. She shouted, “Well if you didn’t want me to be alone then your ass should have came home huh.” She slammed her cell phone closed cutting the connection. She grabbed the grapes and a box of cookies she found in the cupboard and walked back into the living room.

Julie and Adam were still kissing when Patti walked back into the room. She watched them a minute and decide to go to bed early when she felt the tears welling up in her eyes. “I am going to go to bed now. I know where the guess room is since I painted it.” She chuckled.

Julie pulled back from Adam. “You okay? I heard you yelling. Is everything alright?” She looked at her friend and smiled. ‘Well she found the cookies.’ She smiled to herself.

“Yeah everything is as fine as it can get.” Patti said as she walked toward the stairs. “Oh by the way Adam Shawn said that he heard that they are going to tag team you with Rey Mysterio Jr. and you may have to leave Tuesday.” Patti took the stairs to at a time because she didn’t want to be there for the explosion that was about to come.

Julie looked at the floor. Tuesday he was going to have to leave Tuesday. This was Saturday so she would only have Sunday and Monday with him before he was going to leave again. She put the brave front up and smiled, “So you and Rey huh. Well that will be cool right?”

Adam watched as his wife put the brave front up. He watched her smile although it never reached her eyes. He sighed sometimes the business just wasn’t fair. “Yeah it will be. You should meet Rey. He is quite a guy.”

Julie nodded, “I bet he is. So he got a girlfriend or wife too?”

Adam frowned and shook his head, “No you see Rey is gay but I think he has a boyfriend.” He thought for a minute then nodded. “Yeah he does have a boyfriend. He is dating Brock.”

Julie’s jaw hit the floor. “What!” Founding out Brock was gay shocked Julie to the core. “I can’t believe he is gay. I would have never guessed. I am glad he has someone in the business though.”

Adam nodded, “Yeah and they’re in the same brand so they get to travel together.” He chuckled and wagged his eyebrows. “And room together.”

Julie chuckled. “Adam you are to much. Come on let’s go to bed.”

As Adam and Julie were going to up the stairs the phone in the kitchen rang. Julie turned and went back down the stair and started toward the kitchen when she heard Adam say, “If that’s for me I am already in bed.” She picked up the phone and said, “Hello.”

Shawn sighed thankful that it was Julie answering and not Patti, “Hey its me. Thanks for doing this for me”

Julie sighed, “Your Welcome but I feel bad about doing this to her. I mean she is really upset that you aren’t home. She really thinks that you didn’t want to come home.”

Shawn sighed again. “I know but I just wanted to surprise her. I promise after tomorrow night she won’t be mad at me anymore. I got a really great surprise for her.”

Julie cocked an eyebrow. “What’s the surprise?”

Shawn smiled, “She is going to love this. Vince is giving me a month off.”

Julie squealed, “That is great she is going to love it. How is Vince going to work into the story line?”

“Well you know that feud I am having with Hunter? Well he is going to hurt me at the PPV and I am going to be on recovery for a month.” Shawn explained

Julie nodded. “That is a great storyline. I wish Adam could get a storyline like that.” Sometimes she wished Adam would get hurt so he would get to stay home.

Shawn nodded in understandment. “I know. Well I gotta go. I will talk to sometime later. Okay?”

Julie nodded “Okay. Bye.”

“Bye.” Shawn hung up the phone. He sighed and looked at a framed picture of Patti and his wedding day. He hoped Patti would forgive him when he got home. This break that Vince was giving him couldn’t come any to soon. His marriage was becoming seriously stressed. He could tell when he talked to Patti that she was nearing the end of her rope. He looked at the clock and decided that he better get to bed if he was going to make his 5:30 flight.

Patti sat on the bed and sighed. “Even on the weekend I awake up at the butt crack of dawn.” She muttered. She threw on her most comfortable clothes. If necessary she would change later to go shopping. She opened the bedroom door only to see Julie coming out the bathroom across the hall. “I thought your bedroom had its own bathroom.”

Julie rolled her eyes. “Adam is in there.”

Patti laughed. “I see. He is a lot like Shawn. Shawn can be in the bathroom for hours.” She made a face. “Men. I tell ya.”

Julie chuckled. She couldn’t very well tell Patti the truth. That Adam was down stairs in the kitchen laying out the presents that they had bought for her and the cake. “Come on that’s go make breakfast I am super starving.” She motioned for Patti to come downstairs.

Patti looked at her friend. “You know I think Adam is sick. I heard someone throwing up this morning.”

Julie stopped dead still. “No that wasn’t Adam that was…Well that was me.”

Patti looked at Julie. “Are you sick? Does Adam know?” She grabbed her friend’s shoulders. “What is going on? Tell me.”

Julie sighed, “Okay but you can’t tell Adam.” She looked at Patti. “Promise you won’t tell Adam. I want to tell him when I think the time is right. He is working so hard you know and well I just want to be the one to tell him.”

Patti looked wide-eyed at her friend. “What is it? Are you sick? For god sake tell me.”

Julie smiled at her friend. “Good lord you are full of question. No I am not ill.” She quieted down then smiled brightly. “I’m pregnant.”

Patti squealed, “Oh that is great Julie. I am so happy for you. You should really tell Adam.”

Adam appeared at the bottom of the stairs. “Tell Adam what?”

Patti fumbled for a lie quickly then smirked, “Tell you that you are a bathroom hog. And that you should have your head shaved.”

Adam paled. “No not my hair. Please I don’t wanna look like Kurt Angle.”

The 3 of them started laughing. “That was pretty good Adam.” Patti said.

Julie walked the rest of the way down the stairs. “Come on you two. I am so hungry.” She kissed Adam good morning.

Patti groaned. She walked around the two and into kitchen where she stopped quickly. “Oh my god.”

Julie and Adam walked up behind her. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” they shouted.

Patti smile, “Thank you. You guys are too much.” She hugged them both. “When did you get all these?”

Julie smiled and cleared her throat. “I sent Adam out last night to get them. I was hungry anyway and we didn’t have any more grapes. Thanks to a certain someone.”

Patti laughed. “So what’s for breakfast?”

Julie smiled. “I’ll make breakfast. You open for presents.”

Patti looked at her friend. “Umm Julie I don’t mean to butt in to your business but I think you should tell Adam.”

Julie just looked at Patti. “But today is your day.”

Patti looked at Julie. “Yes today is my day so what I say goes now TELL HIM!”

Julie took a deep breath and nodded, “Okay fine.” She walked over to Adam and looked at him. “Adam the reason I sent you out last and the reason I haven’t being feeling well lately is because…” She stopped then started again, “I am pregnant.”

Adam’s jaw dropped to the floor. “Your what?”

Julie looked at the floor. “You heard me.” She gasped when she was swept up in Adam’s arms.

Adam smiled. “This is great.”

Patti smiled. This was the best gift she could have gotten her best friends were happy. She sighed only if Shawn was here to share the great news. She listened to her friends laugh and coo at each other. Any other time it would have made her happy but right now it just made her sick. She walked over to the cupboard and took a big skillet to start the eggs. “You guys want scrambled eggs or just fried?”

Adam and Julie pulled apart. “Sorry. Umm I was thinking more along the lines of pancakes and eggs. Maybe some bacon and sausage too.”

Patti laughed, “Oh yeah she’s pregnant.” She laughed and turned back to the stove. “So what’s on the agenda for today?”

Julie shrugged. “ I don’t know. Maybe we could go shopping and out to lunch like we planned.” She opened the cupboard beside Patti getting out the pancake mix and mixer. “I heard there is a huge indoor sidewalk sale at the mall. And now that Adam knows about the pregnancy I don’t have to wait till he is on the road again to buy maternity clothes.”

Adam and Patti looked at Julie. Adam spoke first “How far along are you?”

Patti nodded, “Yeah I thought you were just a couple weeks or something.”

Julie frowned and put the mixed pancake batter near the stove. “The doctor said I am about 2 months along. So the way I figured it the baby was conceived around the time Adam got hurt after him and Jay split.”

It was Adam’s turn to frown, “Julie, honey, when were you going to tell me?”

Julie sighed, “Don’t know I was building the courage I didn’t want you to be mad. I mean you have this really great push and story line coming up I just wasn’t sure.”

Adam sighed, “Honey I love you and you are more important then the business. I told you that last night.”

Julie smiled and nodded, “I know.”

Patti smiled at her friends. She got out the griddle for the pancakes. “Okay shopping sounds good to me.” She smirked and turn to Adam, “You wanna come with us. I mean you could use someone to carry our shopping bags.”

Julie snorted and laughed.

Adam shook his head. “As tempting as that sounds I think just hang around here and watch T.V.”

Patti and Julie stood in the kitchen and cooked a huge breakfast for themselves and Adam. “So when you going to open your presents? I can’t wait for you to see the one I got you.” Julie said.

Patti shrugged. “I’ll open them before we eat breakfast.” She smiled at her friend. “What did ya get me?”

Julie just shrugged. “I am not telling ya.”

Patti sighed, “Fine let your best friend die of anticipation.”

Julie chuckled, “Good Grief you are so dramatic.”

After the breakfast was finished cooking. Julie moved Patti’s presents to one side of the big kitchen table so she could lay out the plates and silverware. “Adam come get some breakfast.” Julie called.

Adam clicked the television off and walked into the kitchen. He stopped in the doorway. His mouth dropped in shock. “Holy God. Who the hell are we feeding? Brock Lesnar.”

Julie frowned and looked at the floor. “I told you I was hungry.”

Patti glared at Adam. She wrapped her arm around Julie’s shoulders. “Its okay Jul. If you’re hungry then you eat as much food as you want.” She glared at Adam again.

Adam frowned. “I didn’t mean it honey. I am sorry.”

Julie smiled, “Its no big. I know I am going to get as fat as a whale.”

Patti broke then tension by saying, “I am hungry. Let’s eat.”

They sat around the table. Julie threw her hand over Patti’s as she reached for a pancake. “Wait you have to open your presents first.”

Adam nodded. “Yeah I can’t wait to see the look on your face when you open the one I got for ya.” He chuckled.

Patti looked at him a little leery. She picked up a package wrapped in light blue paper. Opening it slowly she smiled. “Its beautiful. Thanks.” She said looked at the black throw with a silver dragon embroider on it.

She opened the rest of them. When she came to the last one she looked at Adam. “Is this the one from you Adam?”

Adam smiled and nodded. “Yeah. It isn’t anything that will eat ya. Trust me.”

Patti eyed it cautiously. “Okay.” She opened the package that was wrap in the comic section of the newspaper. She laughed when she had it completely unwrapped.

Julie looked at her, “What is it?”

Patti turned the present around so Julie could see it. Julie laughed. “Press the foot I wanna hear it.” Patti pressed the foot and the little hamster came to life. It sang and played his guitar to “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous” by Good Charlotte. She smiled at Adam. “Thanks its so cute.”

After eating their breakfast Julie and Patti went up stairs to change clothes for the day amongst the town. Adam sat in his chair watching tv. ‘As soon as they leave I am going to head over to Patti’s house to help Shawn set up. If there was no problems he should be arriving at ten.’

Julie rushed down the stairs to talk to Adam. Looking around to make sure Patti was still upstairs. “You remember what you’re suppose to do today?”

Adam nodded. “Yeah I got it.” He looked at Julie and smiled.

Julie cocked her head to the side, “What?”

Adam smiled at her brightly, “I am going to be a Daddy.”

Julie smiled, “Ya sure are.”

They were still kissing when Patti came down the stairs. “Jesus Christ you two are already having a baby. So give up already.”

Julie laughed. “Yeah I guess we might as well stop now and become one of those old couples who sleep in separate beds.”

Now it was Patti’s turn to laugh, “Yeah right. You two go at it like bunnies. I highly doubt you two will ever sleep in separate beds.”

Adam looked at the clock. “Yes well you two better head on out. You don’t want all the good stuff to be taken do ya?”

Julie smiled. ‘Oh no Adam that wasn’t obvious or anything.’ She thought. “No we don’t and if you are a good boy maybe I get you something too.”

Adam smiled. “I have been looking at that new game boy.”

Patti and Julie sighed simultaneously. “Adam.” Patti said. “You are one of a kind.”

Adam smiled, “I try.”

Adam watched the two girls leave. He waited till their car was completely out of sight before he put his shoes on and grabbed his jacket. Making his way out the door he grabbed his car keys and ran to his car. Once in the car he punched Patti’s house phone number on his car phone. He waited till the answering machine picked up. “Shawn are you there. Pick up.” He was about to hang up when he heard someone pick up the phone.

“Adam. You on your way?” Shawn asked. He hoped that his plans were going to go well Patti deserved this nice surprise.

“Yeah man I am on my way right now. I’m about a block from your house.” Adam said as he turned down a side street.

“Okay I will open the garage door so you can pull in and your car won’t be seen.” Shawn said as he made his way to the kitchen to push the automatic door opener. “So where is my baby?”

Adam smiled. “She is out with mine at the mall. Hold on I’m pulling up now.” He hung up the phone and pulled into the driveway. After parking the car in the garage Adam turn off the ignition and hopped out.

Shawn greeted him at the door. “Hey man.” He had never been close to Adam but when they fell head over ass in love with two women with who were best friends. It was hard not to become close friends.

Adam and Shawn got busy decorating the bedroom in a romantic atmosphere. Shawn looked over at Adam and that was when he noticed that Adam was grinning like a fool. “Man what gives you have been grinning like a fool all afternoon?”

Adam looked up from pulling rose pedals of their stems. “What are you talking about I have not been grinning like a fool.”

Shawn smiled. “Yes you have now what gives.”

Adam smiled. “Alright. Julie told me something this morning and I just can’t get it outta my head.”

Shawn smiled. “What did she tell you?”

Adam smiled. “She told me that she is pregnant.”

Shawn laughed and said, “That’s great man. I’m happy for you.”

Julie and Patti made their way to Julie’s car. After throwing their bags in the trunk they climbed tiredly into the car. Patti groaned, “Jesus Christ woman when you go shopping you really go shopping.”

Julie laughed and started the car, “You know it sister.”

On their way home Patti noticed that Julie had turned down the street toward her house. “Julie where are we going?”

Julie didn’t answer until she was parked outside Patti’s house. “You are going home and get the best birthday present you have ever gotten.”

Patti just cocked an eyebrow.

Julie winked at her and smiled. “Go there is someone waiting for you in there.”

Patti thought for a moment then smiled. “What about my clothes and bags?”

Julie groaned and smacked her head on the steering wheel. “Woman go to your man and fuck him senseless. You can get your stuff tomorrow maybe the next day depending when you two get out of bed.”

Patti laughed and hugged her friend. “Thank you.”

Julie smiled and hugged her friend back. “Anytime.”

Patti smiled and jumped out of the car and ran toward the house.

Julie smiled and said aloud to herself, “Adam you better not being doing anything when I get your ass is mine.”

Patti smiled and rushed inside the house. She slammed the door. Looking around she saw no sign of Shawn or anything else that hadn’t been there this morning. She sighed and made her way up to the bathroom. She need to shower and she wanted to change before she went back over to Julie’s and kicked her ass from there to Seattle so she could kick Shawn’s ass at the same time.

Walking pass the master bedroom she smelled vanilla. ‘What the hell?’

Opening the door cautiously she saw a wonderful site. There Shawn stood in all his naked glory holding a rose. “Shawn.” She felt warm tears building up in her eyes. “What are you doing here? I thought you made a thing in Seattle.”

Shawn smiled softly. “I did but that was over yesterday morning. I wanted to fly in and surprise you. I am sorry that hurt you so much.” He walked over to her and handed her the rose.

Patti accepted the rose from Shawn. “I am sorry about the things I said.”

Shawn smiled and took Patti in his arms. “Don’t worry about it. I understand completely why you said those things.” He kissed her gently on the lips. “I love you so much.” He smiled when she laid her on his shoulder.

Patti smiled when she felt Shawn harden against her thigh. “Did ya miss me?” She laughed when Shawn groaned.

“Yes I missed you ever second. I don’t like being on the road with out you.” Shawn said. He pushed her back so he could she her face. “So what do you think of your birthday present?”

Patti looked around the room. “I think I love it.” She smiled and kissed him again. When Shawn pulled her tight against him she gasped. Shawn used this to his advantage. He thrusted his tongue in her mouth. Slowly he reacquainted himself with her mouth and her taste. He pulled back from her mouth panting. “I have another present for ya.”

Patti smiled, “What’s that?

Shawn smiled, “I’m going to be getting hurt in the storyline. Which means I am getting about 2 months off.”

Patti squealed, “YES!” She pushed Shawn back on the bed and laid down on top of him. “ I love you.”
